Platform tools not found in android sdk
I have recently downloaded the android sdk / ndk tool with unity hub for version 2019.4.
But during build it prompts the message "Platform tools not found in android sdk."
When I am clicking on *Upgrade sdk*, it shows some error (attached)
I searched a lot but nothing could help me out. Running Unity as administrator also does not help.

SDK Manager Keeps Disappearing
So I am trying to publish a game to the google play store. However, the google play store requires you to sign the apk before publishing. The thing is, there is a file known as the sdk manager needed to sign the apk, but it keeps disappearing. I tried everything from installing another version of unity to downloading the command-line-tools from Android Studio. Even if I somehow manage to keep the sdk manager from disappearing for 2 minutes, when I try to build the apk, I get errors saying that it couldn't find or load the main class com.android.sdklib.tool.SdkManagerCli and that it failed to update the Android SDK package list. I doubt anyone is going to find this, but if someone did find this, and you have the answer, then please tell me if I am doing something wrong. I don't know what to do.

You are missing the recommended JDK, Android SDK Tools, and Android NDK. Install the recommended version using Unity Hub.
Android Build Error:
The problem is that I HAVE installed the recommended tools from the Unity Hub and the project IS using that version (2019.4.4f1 with Android Support).
The folders where the OpenJDK and NDK are supposed to be in are EMPTY.

problem with android build
I have a project that only has some cubes and it's just for test. less than 30 MB.
when I want to build my project for android an error apears:
CommandInvokationFailure: Failed to create a assets.ap_ package
C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer/Tools\OpenJDK\Windows\bin\java.exe -Xmx4096M -Dcom.android.sdkmanager.toolsdir="F:/Apps/SDK\tools" -Dfile.encoding=UTF8 -jar "C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer/Tools\sdktools.jar" -
I read somewhere that if you check the "Use Legacy SDK" the error should be solved. I did that and the error solved but no output will be in the folder after build.
Another problem with an service. I used to use "Play Services Resolver" but it seems to be deleted in Unity 2018.4
Also I used that github package but with no result.(Maybe I used it wrong)
here is the error text:
CommandInvokationFailure: Unable to convert classes into dex format.
C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer/Tools\OpenJDK\Windows\bin\java.exe -Xmx4096M -Dcom.android.sdkmanager.toolsdir="F:/Apps/SDK\tools" -Dfile.encoding=UTF8 -jar "C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer/Tools\sdktools.jar" -
What should I do with those?

Build for Android only has max target API 28?
I'm building an android app. Previously, I had minimum version 8.0 (API level 26 or so) and target platform highest installed. This works fine on my device when I attach it via cable, but now that I want to upload the app to the play store, it doesn't work anymore.
The play store apparently requires a minimum API level of 29. However, this option doesn't appear within my player settings drop down. It goes up and until 28 and also has an option "Highest installed". I use the SDK tools via Unity hub so I don't know if I can update those.
I'm running Unity 2019.1.7f1 and I really don't want to upgrade this, since I'm also dependend on a ton of other packages and colleagues who run this version. Any method with which I can build for the SDK platform level 29? I can't imagine this isn't possible with my current setup and I'm working towards a deadline. Let's hope it's an easy fix..

Unity exception JDK not found
Hello Community :)
today I tried to install unity (2020.1.4f1) with the Unity Hub.
I have selected the following modules:
Android Build Support (Android SDK & NDK Tools | OpenJDK)
iOS Build Support
Universal Windows Platform Build Support
WebGL Build Support
Windows Build Support (IL2CPP)
Documentation
The installation is successfully completed. But after I want to build an Android App (.apk) an error ouccurs. The error from unity descripes that the JDK module is missing.
I tried to install the JDK manually from oracle. Firstly I tried the newest JDK (jdk-8u261-windows-x64.exe) but this does not solve the problem. Secondly I tried an older JDK version (jdk-8u251-windows-x64.exe) but even this one does not solve the problem.
I had set the Java envrionment variable manually, but wihtout success.
I installed Android Studio, but without success.
I hope there is someone who can help me to solve this problem.

Problem parsing package with API level 29
I was ready to publish my game I have been working on for a while now to the Google Play Store. It was working great. I uploaded the APK and got the error API level 29 or higher required. So I changed my API level to 29 installed the newer version and got the build to work. It finished with no errors but when I tried to install it on my phone to test I got "There was a problem parsing the package". The things I have tried are using API level 30. Using Android Studio to install the SDK. Changing from unity version 2019 to 2020. I have also tried various combinations of these things. I also can't seem to find anything about this anywhere. Any help is greatly appreciated!

"Set-up Android SDK path to make Android remote work" 2020.1.17f1 : \ into /
I installed and set-up unity remote last year by replacing the **"\"** in the SDK path under Preferences->ExternalTools with "**/**". It worked fine then.
----------
(see @anycolourulike answer here http://answers.unity.com/answers/1747919/view.html)
----------
I since upgraded my project to Unity 2020.1.17f1 and now Unity auto-corrects the **"\"** back into "**/**", which leads Unity Remote to not work anymore.
----------
I installed the Google USB driver (I'm developing on Android), and followed everything in this tutorial (it worked with it last year) : https://generalistprogrammer.com/programming-lifestyle/unity-remote-5-not-working-setup/
----------
Did someone manage to make Unity Remote 5 work on 2020.1.17f1 ?

Android SDK not found
Hi, im currently using **Unity 2019.3.15f1** and this error came to me when i tried to build my project into apk. I heard that there's an android SDK bug related to this version but i dont know if mine is count as a bug.
Yersterday when i tried to built my project the **Android SDK not found** error came up, i followed others solution and it worked perfectly after. Today when i tried to build it into apk this problem came up again, i tried several solutions and it still didnt work.
Here's what happened before:
- I tried to build my project into apk, and **Android SDK not found** came up
- I followed some others solutions from another threat with the same problem as me and it still didnt work
- I downloaded Android Studio, copied the SDK path **C:\Users\ACER\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk** paste it to unity SDK path, the warning that says something about does not support third party still showed up
- i pressed build and the Android SDK not found gone, but another error message came up. It still related to SDK but i forgot what the name of the error.
- I messed around with the preferences setting (following others solution) pressed build and **Android SDK not found** came up again
It's been 7 hours since the first error message came up and i havent fixed it yet. I just want my app to be released before new year but this error have been making my progresses very slow. All responses greatly appreciated.
Extra Information:
- I've searched for keyword "sdk" in my file manager and only from unity default came up **C:\Program Files\Unity\Hub\Editor\2019.3.15f1\Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\AndroidPlayer\SDK**. I also changed the slash from "\" to "/" and still didnt work
- I tried restarting my Unity several times and it didnt worked.
- I used unity remote before the error message came
- I followed some "easy" methods (e.g changing the preferences setting) and none of them worked. I havent tried the hard methods (e.g changing java something like that) except downloading Android Studio
Just want to confirm, does Android Studio SDK has their own folder in file manager? Because mine doesnt show up.

Does unity remote has something to do with SDK?
So im facing this problem when i tried to build my apk, **Android SDK not found**. I've tried a lot of ways to fix this problem but they didnt work. But the weird think is that my unity remote is still working perfectly fine, no error or so whatever. My SDK path that i use is the same when i tried to bulld my app. So i wonder, does unity remote actually use SDK or maybe spesific file regarding the device that i use?

What to do if my game became buggy due to switching my scripting backend to IL2CPP?
So I finished my game today and when I uploaded it to playstore it showed me an error that I have to add support for ARM64 but my current game only had support for ARMv7. After googling I found that if I change my scripting backend from mono to IL2CPP the problem will be solved.
It indeed solved and I could publish my game but then I found my game became fully buggy.
My game runs flawlessly in the editor or standard mono build. But if I build with scripting backend as IL2CPP it's buggy.
Note: I didn't get any error whatsoever for my platform switch.
and how can I debug a code which is not buggy, to begin with? After the problem is because of IL2CPP, not my code.
Please help. I worked for 2 years on this and now I can't publish it :(
