How to set JAVA_HOME using OpenJDK?

I installed Unity 2019.1.5f1 , and I am using Firebase. When I used Android Resolver there is this problem that says I need to set JAVA_HOME: *Gradle failed to fetch dependencies. ... ERROR: JAVA_HOME is not set and no 'java' command could be found in your PATH.* As far as I know Unity is using OpenJDK which is fine by me, but how to I set the JAVA_HOME using the OpenJDK? I don't even know where it is located. How do I set the JAVA_HOME variable using OpenJDK?

Android Build not working

Hi guys, I was not using unity for a couple of months. It was working fine then. Last day i tried creating an android build (just sample scene), the unity gets hang at a point in building gradle and I have to force close Unity. Is there any fix?

I haven't worked on my project for a few years due to personal circumstances. I recently got back, and tried exporting my game to Android. However, I ran the following issue. Gradle build error Unity 2019.1.6f1

I found out that unity has deprecated the internal build system and has defaulted to gradle. I've not built with the gradle build system before, and now after upgrading to unity 2019.1 full version, I can't build an android project. Hello, I'm new to Unity and I've been using it to create worlds for the game VRchat. I also make the worlds crossplatform so that both PC and quest users can access the worlds. I've already successfully built and updated a world for both platforms but I've recently started a new project. I wanted to test it out so I was going to build the world before uploading it but it wouldn't allow me. I checked the settings I had for my first world and they were set the same as the new world. It should work but it doesn't so I changed the API level from android 4.1 to android 4.3 because it said that that part of the color space wasn't compatible. Once I did that, I was able to click "build" but then it asked me to complete a task I wasn't required to do for the first world. I was instructed to find and select the android SDK file on my desktop but I couldn't seem to find one and I also don't know what it is. If I could figure out what that file is or where it is that would be helpful.

I would like some help about remote testing. I have Unity Remote 5 in my phone (Asus Zenfone 4). I have USB debugging enabled. The phone is recognized by the pc. I have the Android tools installed with Unity (JDK, SDK, NDK). I have the Build Setting set to Android. In Project Settings > Editor I have Device set to Any Android Device. My phone is connected to the motherboard USB. - In the console I have the message "Set-up Android SDK path to make Android remote work" But I did installed the SDK with Unity, and in the Preferences, "Android SDK Tools Installed with Unity" is checked, so wasn't Unity supposed to know this path? I can't even set-up the path if this option is checked. I'm using Unity 2019.1.10f1. My project is empty and when I press play nothing happens, the Unity Remote 5 app doesn't even change. I tried closing Unity, connecting the phone, launching Unity Remote 5 in the phone, open the Unity project, press play, and nothing happens. If you got some knowledge on this please let me know. I do not know what to do to make this work. Your help is super appreciated. Thanks!

Unable to locate Android NDK when building from command line

Hello, I'm building Android from Unity on my CI machine and can't solve the issue with missing NDK. There is NDK r16 and Unity 2019.1.1 installed, but when build is run in the batchmode I get - Unable to locate Android NDK.

Everything worked fine until I switched to support 64-bit architectures (Google requirement since 1 Aug 2019).

I can't seem to get Unity Remote to work (Android)

I know it has been asked a lot of times already but I can't find an answer that works. I'm using the SDK installed with Unity. ![][1] It recognizes my device in the build settings and allows me to 'build and run', but won't work with Unity Remote. It's telling me to set up the SDK path. ![][2] I have followed [this][3] manual and everything should be working, but it isn't. I'm using unity version 2019.2.0f1 and a Samsung Galaxy S9+. I have exported an Android App Bundle file to upload at Play store with NDK downloaded from Unity desired location because Android Studio NDK file is not compatible with Unity.

Unity 2019.2 can't locate ndk or use ndk

I have been trying to get this fixed but nothing helped. i tried linking a new direcotory. already annoying that it searches for itself and it doesn't open finder so i can put mine in. both the one with unity hub installed and the one i linked don't get recognised. after that i downloaded the newest r19 NDK and put it in the NDK folder of the editor and placed the preinstalled away. but yet again nothing. ![alt text][1] ![alt text][2] ![alt text][3] how can i fix this? it only happened after going from 2018.3 to 2019.2 . i didn't update for a long time. i still have version 2018.3 located on my internal drive. and the 2019.2 is on my external drive. if that is info that helps. it's annoying cause i can't do anything right now. Build Project to Android Error: Unable to start ADB server.

Hello, When I try to build my Unity project to my android device, it gives the error: Unable to start ADB server. Please make sure the Android SDK is installed and is properly configured in the Editor. See the Console for more details. I have the Android SDK, NDK and JDK all set up. I have looked up for the error, but I really can't find a solution. I'm in Unity 2019.3.0a11, is it possible I have this error because I'm in an alpha version? Does anyone have a link with the steps to build Unity projects to Android? Or does anyone know how to fix this error? Thanks in case

Hello, I have newly installed the Unity version 2119.2.5f1 and started a new project. Almost instandly came this error in the console, even before I created any GameObjects. I have dozens of previous successful APK/OBB duos. Now, since a handful of updates and bug fixes (Firebase to 5.6.0, etc), my export functionality has stalled.
